OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!
I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!!
This week has been one of the best
weeks on my mission!!!!! Sister Davis and I are on this spiritual high and can’t
come down.
Where do i start?
Tuesday we saw a former investigator
and taught him the restoration...I LOVE TEACHING
And a member came out with us and
shared her conversion story it was solid! He invited himself to church pretty
too! :)
Wednesday we went to the temple
which was an amazing experience and the spirit was so strong! If we had family
names we were allowed to baptisms for the dead and my Zone Leader Elder Damash
(idk how to spell his name) was proxy for his dad to be baptized, he is the
only member in his family, and His mom was not really happy with his decision
to go on a mission, and she was really sick in the hospital before she passed
away, and we went to go visit her and he had his mission call already and she
said to him, "I don't really care about this mission, but i know it's
important to you, and whatever they ask you to do, do it your best." The
next day she passed away. It was such an amazing experience to hear! And a
senior companion had 26 names to do.
In Doctrine and Covenants 128:15 it
talks about our eternal salvation and what's necessary for us to do, the dead
and the living cannot be lightly passed over our salvation is necessary and
essential to our salvation we without the dead cannot be made perfect and they without
us cannot be made perfect either. Heavenly Father's work is so amazing and i am
so grateful for all the Temple's we have on this earth today
Thursday we taught so many people!
We called a Less active man Michael, and he said we would have to call his wife
to see if we could stop by she is not a member, we called and set an appt. with
her, we called all these members in the ward the whhhoooolllleeee day trying to
have someone come out and teach with us, the last person we called that we knew
was free, said she could come! And when we went to the appt. Michael wasn't
there but his wife was and 2 girls! we realized the He was divorced and he
re-married a nonmember and has two girls that live with him and they have not
been baptized yet. However they are practically members they have gone to stake
youth conferences and have gone to church with their family in Utah. The Step
mom "doesn't buy it"
We invited them to come to church,
The step mom supports them though and said she would drop them off if the
member we came out with would give them a ride home yesterday they 2 girls came
to came to church!
Friday we had exchanges I went to
Peach Tree City again...I think that was my 3rd time being on exchanges there!
haha one of the members of the ward was like maybe you'll get transferred here
next cuz you keep coming over.
Saturday was amazing too we did
service for members and made cookies and flowers for the families...yes mom we
did heart attack the hanks" she loved it and she's keeping it up for
Caroline when she comes home on wed. :)
Yesterday at church we had four less
actives come to church and also 5 new investigators.
IT'S A MIRACLE!!! Last week I was
struggling I wasn't feeling like a successful missionary because we haven't
been teaching anyone who's been consistent and i know that's not what the
definition is for a successful missionary but in my heart that's how i was
feeling and i can just testify that Heavenly Father, hears and answers our
prayers! And Loves us so much! All the things that i have experienced this
week, all the miracles... is because of him! And i can't even describe this
feeling! I love being a missionary!!!!! And i love all of you :)
