Skype

Words cannot express the joy and gratitude I have experienced this Christmas!  It was soooo wonderful to "see" Sister Berryman!  She looks and sounds fantastic and I know she is where she belongs!  I am grateful for all the members who have looked after her and her companions and pray that I can do the same for our missionaries here!

I love her!  I miss her!  I am thankful for her example!

Christmas 2014! (Only 12 months to go!)

This is how they show up to a member's house for Christmas!
Thanks, Hanks family!  We sure appreciate you!!
 Typical Sister B. style

Merry Christmas!

SIX months!

It doesn't seem like it has been six months!  We sure do love and miss her!

Hello!

So this week we had a nativity festival and we came up with an idea to wrap boms up but it didn't work out so well though:/ warning this is a tantrum moment: this lady from the other ward in Peach Tree City, was like youre not giving those out are you? and she told us to put them away and not give any out -_- she was so rude about it and asked us not to come back the next night and we were like well we have investigators scheduled to come both nights... and she was like oh yeah that's understandable there's just so many of you missionaries here blah blah and as we left she was like thank you for not doing that, and we were like oh sure it's just our mission pres thought it was a good idea and she was like we may just have to call him (in my head I was like "How bout no" good luck with that) haha and our plan was we werent going to pass them out to like everyone just if they asked to have one, So Friday that happened, then Saturday we go there and she gives us the dirtiest look ever and we mentioned it to our WML, he went to talk to her but before he could bring the situation up she did....we weren't planning on talking more about it to people but then on Sunday we had ward correlation and they were saying oh what could we do better for next year's festival and the relief society president was like we need to give more stuff out like bom's and pass along cards etc.. and we were like we weren't allowed to and told them what happened haha and now our Bishop is going to see what the issue is :P now the ward council members (who were in the meeting) tease us about it saying like you can't go proselyting, or hey what's that book of Mormon in your hand put that away haha I love this ward. And I can handle rejection, but to get rejection from a member in the church was what made me upset, okay tantrum done...
Yes I can Skype both of you! and I am so excited to see your faces! :) and Russell! I can't believe Tess is a mom now! #weird but more exciting! :)
to end on a good note we have two new investigators! haha
Have a good week everyone! LOVE!

New Companion

Hey Hey!

This week I have been a little under the weather!
Sister Tavenner went home, I didn't realize how hard it would be to say bye to her! My child is Sister Davis! she is 21 and is from Colorado! I love her so much! We are going to have so much fun together. Today is Sister Carlson's birthday! we blew up balloons and filled them in the hallway and when we were doing our study's this morning we just heard her laughing haha it was the cutest thing to hear that! were going to the store to get more stuff she likes, unfortunately she is allergic to gluten so lots of candy and no bday cake.

We have 3 investigators on date! As of last week! Please pray for Christina Hardman and Rayna and Jacob! It's weird to be a senior companion now, but I realized how fast I adjusted to the work and being a missionary. I love this Gospel! and I love you all!
-Sister Berryman

Farewell

Our last few days together before she gets to go home!

Hey Momma! How are you?

This week was good! But long we had to still work and knock on doors we met a woman named Karen who's husband died the day before thanksgiving I felt so terrible for her I asked if we could pray with her and she said yes and then afterwards I told her I knew that she'd be bale to see her husband again. and we gave her our information to contact us, she had still been on my mind the next day, and we had dinner at a members home on Friday, we had left overs from there dinner on Thursday and she gave us a whole entire pumpkin pie we dropped by Karens and  gave it to her, her whole family was there and they all had smiles on their faces and she gave us a hug and thanked us. that was the high light of the week!:)
This transfer I will no longer be an STL! I am sad but  it was fun to do a ton of exchanges with 2 set of sisters we had! Things will probs change over here 22 missionaries are going home and 12 are coming in. I have a bigger responsibility now, I will be training a greenie! I'm gonna be a mom! (That's missionary logo) my daughter will be here Wednesday! and I am nervous and excited at the same time, I still feel brand new!
Oh and Friday Erica our Recent convert asked us to help with Christmas decorations and I felt right at home doing that:)
And we will be Skyping on Christmas day some time, depending on when I have dinner at a members home and we will be skyeping while im at the members home :) and they will probably be able to text you and warn you when I will be calling :)
I love you!
Love,
Sister Berryman
