So Happy!

This week was good it was slower, we had zone conf. and the missionary mall.
A member took us to 5 Guys which made me so happy!
Sunday was great...we had to teach the lesson it was about missionary work so that was easy
We had exchanges with the traveling sisters again. MIRACLES happened! President Harding wanted us to find families, and try to get them a date before General Conf. Which sounds crazy..but we made it happen! Although they are on date for OCT.11 which is after General Conference. :) and we have 5 new investigators total for the week. I love when we do exchanges with the Traveling Sisters because they stay in our area, and so its double the work that happens. I wish we could do it more often haha :) We got some rain this week but not a lot... it's been really nice the past few days though!
Tell everyone "Hello" and "I love them!"

Amazing!

This week was amazing! On Wed. we helped clean a recent convert's home...yeah it wasn't the cleanest house..but Sister Tavenner and I made the best out if it! The lady had us clean the counters, and her floor..and she has a dog and cats and they had left "gifts" all over the kitchen floor and the living room...who knows how long it was there, but it was smelly. She had also purchased Swiffer wipes for us to mop the floor but they were the wrong kind! haha and so I mopped where it wasn't contaminated first so we didn't spread any germs around the whole kitchen...and then we got to the dirty mess and had to move the kitchen table cuz it was all underneath the table, and my comp and I were like this Swiffer stuff is not goin to clean this bacteria..So I ask the Lady if she has any vinegar and she couldn't find any. So we ended up using this spray stuff that was orange we had used to wipe the counter down and we sprayed it on the floor..then it was too bubbly and soapy! haha so we had to poor water to tame it down and my comp. and I were slipping every with our shoes on because the whole floor was wet and we could only be there for an hour so we had to walk on the wet part...it was the funniest thing cuz I was mopping and sister Tavenner was pouring water in front of me walking on the wet part, and she was trying not to slip and fall (it was a you had to of been there moment) but anyways...Thursday was a long day we had to go to a ford dealer that was out of our area..we waited like 20 miles...and the guy fixed the oil button thingy in like 2 seconds! so we realized we could've just called them instead of drove all the way there, and because we had spent so many miles we ended up walkin 5 miles and saw a ton of members in our ward and they were all honkin at us and it was hot and humid but it was fun :) I crashed that night! Friday we did exchanges with the STL's and that was interesting I stayed and had to drive we had a good lesson with one of our investagators, and she is thinking about being baptized this month! And she said she believes that its is true! Sis. Tavenner went with Sis. lortz to the ysa ward and Sis. Lorts got bit by a dog.. so they didn't have a productive day cuz you have to report it as a missionary no matter how bad it is. and then she went to urgent care and all that jazz so she was excited to come back. Then on Saturday we helped Sister Singleton (relief society pres.) with the missionary mall that they are doing...(the whole stake is donating clothes, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, tooth paste tooth brushes etc...for sisters and elders) and she needed help to organize everything out she fed us lunch. And then we helped another member with his lawn and he taught me how to mow!!!! both ways on the motor and the pushing way...man it was a work out. but it was fun! So far my comp. and I are staying together this next transfer so I should be stayin in Sharpsburg! :) we haven't heard anything yet so that is what we are assuming :)
I love you guys and I am so grateful for you and your prayers! I love this opportunity to serve The Lord and to spread The Gospel. It has been such a HUGE blessing to meet new people here in GA!

Pray

Sorry this post is late...

Being out here, you truly carry other people's burdens, because that is what Christ did when he was on the earth.  This work is so important!  The people that you encounter could be in the worst stage of their lives...they are not happy...
they don't have the bigger picture, which includes the gospel, like we do.
Please pray for the investigators!  They need our prayers!

Try to FEED THE MISSIONARIES often!!!  They'll love it! Don't let them stay longer than 1 hour though, They'll be disobedient if they do :)  Have them be your best friends!
I love the families out here :)

I have grown so much from being out here and it's only been about 3 months!  CRAZY!  I love being here!  I love Georgia!

Sister Carlson has a tire swing and we jumped on it for about 20 minutes-my arms were so sore the next day!

To all my family and friends, keep those letters and cards coming!
They sure do make my day!
I love y'all!

Photos via ward members!

 My companion and I.
 Sunday at church

My companion and I got to spend Labor Day with The Hank Family in our ward!  They had a guitar!  Lucky me!  I haven't touched one in almost 3 months!

I am so thankful for ward members and their cell phones!  A surprise photo every now and then makes my day!  I know Sister Berryman is meant to be in Georgia! #misshertons
