Hey Momma! How are you?
This
week was good! But long we had to still work and knock on doors we met a
woman named Karen who's husband died the day before thanksgiving I felt
so terrible for her I asked if we could pray with her and she said yes
and then afterwards I told her I knew that she'd be bale to see her
husband again. and we gave her our information to contact us, she had
still been on my mind the next day, and we had dinner at a members home
on Friday, we had left overs from there dinner on Thursday and she gave
us a whole entire pumpkin pie we dropped by Karens and gave it to her,
her whole family was there and they all had smiles on their faces and
she gave us a hug and thanked us. that was the high light of the week!:)
This
transfer I will no longer be an STL! I am sad but it was fun to do a
ton of exchanges with 2 set of sisters we had! Things will probs change
over here 22 missionaries are going home and 12 are coming in. I have a
bigger responsibility now, I will be training a greenie! I'm gonna be a
mom! (That's missionary logo) my daughter will be here Wednesday! and I
am nervous and excited at the same time, I still feel brand new!
Oh and Friday Erica our Recent convert asked us to help with Christmas decorations and I felt right at home doing that:)
I love you!
Love,

Elder Kopishke
Hey!
This week was great Elder Kopishke came and we got
to have three meetings with him....HOLY ENLIGHTMENT!!! He is so
amazing! and Sister Kopishke is the sweetest cutest thing ever!:) and
they have good humor.
Also Elder Parker from the 70 was here as well
Wednesday
we had Zone conference with him and talked about missionary work and
faith. He really likes to involve the whole congregation to participate
so it's more of a discussion with everyone. He told us that this mission
is the best at finding new investigators, but we are not keeping those
investigators because we have the same number of baptisms for other
missions who aren't the best at finding so he advised some things for us
to do to keep our investigators.
Thursday was a
fireside for all the church member and missionaries investigators and
less actives were invited, he talked about how we need to help bring
people come closer to Christ, one lady asked "How do I help my children
come closer to Christ, if they have been raised in the church, and don't
want to do anything with the church?" Elder Parker answered the
question and said "We have to love them and continue to pray for them
and put their name on the prayer roll for the Temple" and Elder Kopishke
said "Elder Parker is right, Lehi was the father of Nephi and Sam but
he was also the father of Laman and Lemuel. Adam had Cain and Abel" And
it made me think of our inactive family members, and how we have to love them, and it also
made me happy, because all I really knew what to do for them; to
pray and love and put them on the temple roll, and I am glad that I have
been doing the right thing for them. He also mentioned that they have
their own agency and it is their choice if they want to be with us as a
family for forever. So just keeping doing your part Mom :)
Friday we had Mission Leadership Council (For Zone leaders and Sister Training Leaders)
which
they attended to as well. Elder Kopishke mentioned that this meeting is
the MOST important meeting in the Mission. He told us not be Policemen
but a friend as a Sister Training Leader. Which is what I have been
trying to do for the sisters that I am over because I am no better than
them.
I got to see Sister Manzer! (mtc comp.) and Sister Smith! (mtc roommate)
That pretty much sums up the week!
Love you!

Hey y'all!
The high this week is like 65 Haha and
I
am freezing over here in the South it's been in the 40's and it's it's
been pouring rain!!! And it's wet...and freezing and humid :(
I went
on an exchanges Saturday it was really good! I'll send some pics I was
with Sister Stone, she is from California and goes home in April.
We
have a new ward mission leader he is the bishop's dad, and I am so excited! He and his
wife just got home from there mission in Nashville and they are one of
the best couples ever... I'll miss Brother Cluff (the last wml)
but change is good!
Two more squirrel's ran in front of me while driving this week, (they're suicidal) luckily I didn't hit them though!
Yesterday
at our dinner appt. the family who fed us, their neighbors backed into
our car, thank goodness it's not too bad, they were really nice and that
was a good opportunity to get to know them, and they fix cars(the
neighbors), we will be spending our pday getting that fixed today!
Elder Enrich Kopischke is coming this week to our mission on Wednesday I am super excited for that!
This
week we also got two people on date! The two kids we have been teaching
(I think I sent pics a few weeks ago) they'll be getting baptized
December 27th!!

This week was great! Sister P-day was fun! we played volleyball at
the church, there was laser tag afterwards, and most of the sisters went
but we drove the Summergrove sisters, and I was the odd one out no one
else wanted to go laser tagging besides me soo we just played volleyball
and went home afterwards :P Sorry I said I would send pictures and I am
not! I feel bad! But this week was great we are getting more members
coming out with us! and I found out that one of my investigators maiden
name is Berryman!!!!!!! Spelled the same way! And I was like are your
ancestors like from Ireland and Germany? And were they sheep herders? Haha and she said yes! And it was weird she asked me if I knew Allen
Berryman and I was like uh no but that's my Dad's middle name :) So I
took a few of her family names and birthday and when they were born and I'M goin' to see if we are related.....what else happened this week.. OH
we went on exchanges with both set of Sisters it's been a crazy week for
sure. and now that it's in th 30's, 40's and 50's

Zone Sisters
SO this week was great We had Mission Leadership
Council, then we went to the temple and had zone training, we also had the
ward trunk or treat and chili cook off and one of our investigators
came! Other members invited non member friends.
It was a really good
turn out.
Saturday was our first exchange with a set of sisters in our
zone. We planned to exchange at a certain time and they were an hour
and 15 min. late they were doing service with some one who gave them a
ride and then after they did service the family they were with decided
to go out and eat so they were stuck with them, then as we exchange,
Sister Charlesworth, who I was with for the day we went and saw a
potential, but we didn't get to teach her cuz she was sleeping (her son
had answered the door) so we go back to the car to find out Sister
Charlesworth locked the phone and keys in the car...SO we walked back up
to the house we were at asked to use the phone, and thank goodness
I had our phone number memorized! The potential had just woken up so we
ended up teaching the restoration, and we finally got in touch with my
Companion Sister Tavenner and Sister Stone in Sharpsburg. They said they
would drive to the mission office in Peachtree City to get the spare
key and drive back to where we were to unlock the car, so while we
waited we knocked doors and found some investigators!:) My companion arrived
after awhile and we decide the best thing to do because of miles, we
would set goals on how to improve and exchange back. As we closed with a
prayer they walk out of our car and it's the wrong key! Hahaha so we had
to drive all the way back to the office, which is closed on Saturdays,
but the A.P's met us there and gave us two different keys to try, so as
we are on our way back to the area of where there car is, the vehicle
coordinator calls us back and he asks what key the A.P's gave us and we
told him and he was like nope those are not the right ones...turn around Haha so we had to go back and get the right key. We were in the car the
whole day on Saturday pretty much, but I am grateful it was the
beginning of the month so that we had the miles to drive and with the
few hours we were on exchanges with we did learn a lot and we did some
how make progress in each others area:) It was awesome :)
That was the most entertaining thing that happened this week! :)
I am freezing!
(It's officially fall and I am forever an Arizona girl!)
